Microblading is one of the hottest trends in beauty today and it is ideal for anyone 18 years of age or older wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows, especially for those with little to no hair.  Unlike traditional machine applied permanent makeup, microblading is applied manually by using a tool to tattoo fine eyebrow hairs into your own eyebrows, creating the appearance of the full, perfectly shaped eyebrows you’ve always wanted!  When performed correctly by a qualified microblading artist, it is difficult to tell the difference between your real hairs and the microbladed strokes.

LI-FT Tattoo Removal

A procedure to lighten/remove any type of pigment implanted into the skin such as old discolored cosmetic and small body art tattoos. It can even remove pen ink. After the proper amount of removal/lightening is achieved you may get new work over the top.

Emergency removal within 24 hours of initial tattooing service $75
Old PMU or microblading brow removal $250
Returning guest follow up sessions after 8 weeks healing $200
Small body art tattoo removal $100/hour per session

LI-FT is a third party tested, sterile, non acid, high salt concentrate with added orange and lemon seed extract, Aloe Vera, and water. LI-FT is used by trained professionals to safely and effectively lighten/remove any type of unwanted pigment in the skin. From pen ink, Indian ink, body art tattoos, and permanent cosmetics.
LI-FT works on the theory of “Osmosis”
Osmosis is the process by which molecules of a solvent tend to pass through a semi-permeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrate solution. This achieves the same amount of concentration on each side of the membrane.
All tattooed pigments are suspended in the body fluids in the skin. These fluids have a lesser concentration of salt than the LI-FT. A trained LI-FT technician uses a high speed tattoo machine or hand held manual tool to poke holes in the tattoo similar to how it was first achieved. The LI-FT solution than is applied to perform osmosis to draw old pigment up and out.

The number of sessions will depend on many different variables:

  • How deeply the pigment was implanted
  • How many layers of pigment exist
  • The type and color of pigment to be removed (particle size)
  • How saturated it is
  • Where it is on the body
  • A persons own skin and healing process
  • How big of an area needing removal
  • How much pigment needs to be removed

A minimum of 8 weeks is necessary in-between lightening sessions to give the area adequate time to heal. (Removal of pigment bellow the elbow and knee often times take longer to heal.) Larger pieces that need to be broken up into mini sessions must be done at least three weeks apart.

  • People with Fitzpatrick skin types V an VI ( brown & black) have a higher risk of hyper and hypo pigmentation than any other skin types.
  • Scarring and other skin damages are always a possibility.
  • There are no guarantees all traces of pigment will be fully removed.
  • There is some discomfort during the procedure.
  • There can be minor and temporary bleeding, bruising, redness or other discoloration and swelling.
  • Though rare if properly cared for, there is always a chance for infections that warrant a visit to your health care professional to diagnose and treat.

Laser: pigment removal brakes the pigment molecules up and they all travel through the body to be excreted.
LI-FT: most the pigment molecules are drawn directly up and out of the body
Laser: recognizes black ink the best while it is not quite as effective on other colors such as blues greens reds and oranges. This is because different colors demand different wavelengths to break them up. Just like we see color due to the different wavelengths of light. Laser can not identify Titanium (white) pigments. White does not absorb light. So it cannot be targeted by the lazer. (Titanium is often found in skin colored pigments used to lighten or camouflage poor work.) Laser can actually turn white pigment black/gray/rusty color which can be permanent.
LI-FT: is color-agnostic meaning all colors are targeted. Some may just take a bit longer to draw out due to larger molecules in the pigment.
Laser: laser machines don’t usually have all the wavelengths for all colors so technicians tend to crank up the frequency of the laser to try to remove colors without success. This can cause scaring and loss of natural pigment which can make regimenting difficult or impossible.
Laser: can cause permanent hair loss in the brow area.
LI-FT: will not harm natural brow hair
Laser: tends to be more expensive vs LI-FT
Laser: no topical numbing is used. Injectable Lidocaine can be used however some reactions can occur
LI-FT: topical numbing is used
Laser: typically lightening/removal is done in a 4- 6 week series
LI-FT: faster lightening/removal is done in a 3-4 week series

It is critical to follow Aftercare instructions to prevent complications, scaring, and to achieve optimal results.

  1. Keep area clean and open to the air. Do not cover with any kind of bandage. Oxygen provides good and faster healing.
  2. Clean by blotting the area with saline 3-4 times a day. You may purchase more of the saline wipes or saline wash and paper towel or gauze that was provided to you. NO ICE!
  3. Do not soak the treated area in water. You can shower but keep the area out of the spray the best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few minutes. It is best to keep dry, but if you do get it wet gently pat dry.
  4. No bathing swimming, saunas, hot tubs, tanning or exercise. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  5. Do not disrupt the scabbing process (i.e.picking/scratching) All scabs must fall off naturally. If you force or pick you will disrupt and possibly cause scaring. It is critical to keep the scabs on as long as possible to achieve optimal results.
  6. Once all scabs have fallen off, apply one drop of vitamin E oil 3-4 times per day for a minimum of 4 weeks, or until the next lightening session. DO NOT start applying the oil before the scabs fall off.

Unfortunately there is absolutely no way to guarantee the longevity of the skin and hair staining achieved by a Henna Brow treatment. There are numerous factors at play including each persons individual skin cell turnover rate, how well the area is protected from UV light, and how much special precautions are taken to keep the brow area dry. Results can last up to two weeks on the skin and 6 weeks on the hair. The best way to find out how long it last on you is to just try it a time or two!!

Just like professional hair dying services, it is always recommended to receive a patch test 48 hours prior to receiving a Henna Brow service however, it is your right to sign a waiver to refuse one.

  • Do not use waterproof brow products 24 hours prior to your treatment
  • Do not use self tanning products in the brow area 24 hour prior to your treatment
  • Arrive to your treatment with a clean make-up free forehead and brow area

  • Keep brows completely dry for 12 hours post treatment
  • Avoid direct UV light
  • Clean around your brows when showering or face washing
  • Avoid scrubbing with exfoliants or resurfacing creams
